On Monday morning i had an appointment at the nail place and all i got was simply acrylics with just the one colour. (i usually go for a french manicure.) So i was asked to look through the nail polishes and pick the colour i wanted. So i was looking through the colours and found a really, really pretty pink colour by OPI (the one pictured above). Now i really want to know the name of this polish so i can purchase it for myself. So if anyone knows what the colour is please let me know its by OPI. Or if you know of a dupe for this please let me know also.

How To Keep Your Hair From Getting Greasy Quickly

So do you find that your hair becomes greasy not long after you've washed it? well i've got a very simple, quick tip for you.
When washing your hair you should always shampoo twice. The first gets rid of the greasiness and dirt in your hair. The second wash actually does what the shampoo claims it does whether that be volume, shine, etc.

Okay so when it comes to conditioner you should always condition your hair. But here's the thing you should never apply conditioner near your scalp/roots that's what will make it look and feel greasy. You should only condition the ends of your hair.

Another tip is that you shouldn't stick with the same shampoo and conditioner try to switch it up every now and then.

Sometimes you might have product buildup which will cause you hair looking and feeling greasy and if thats the case your gonna need specific shampoo/conditioner for that.

How To Make A Pimple Less Red

This is a very simple, easy and cheap way to make a pimple less red which makes it less noticeable.



Now all you'll need is eyedrops specifically for red eyes. It will not work if you don't use the one for red eyes.

This is the only one i've used and i find it works
really well.



So the way you do this is really simple. All you do is apply a drop of the eyedrops on the pimple the night before and when you wake up in the morning the redness will be very subtle and not as harsh as it used to be.

My 3 Favorite Nail Polishes

So todays blog is going to be on my 3 favorite nail polishes. This is a contest entry for 'The Nail Buff'. Now this is going to be the nail polishes i already own not ones that i just generally like but don't have. So i hope you guys enjoy this and feel free to comment below and let me know of your favorite nail polishes.

1. E (no. 39), Bright Blue (on the left hand side)

I absolutely adore this colour, but the thing is you need a lot of coats to get the colour displayed in the image below. It is so sheer you'd probably need around 3-4 coats. Its got quite a thick consistency yet really sheer. But as you can see the color is gorgeous.

2. Bourjois (Rouge Escarpin no. 10), (middle colour)

This i must say is my number 1 favorite polish of all time. The consistency is so great you seriously need only 1 coat and you've got absolutely amazing Bright Red nails. The finish is wonderful dries really fast and leaves your nails shiny and beautiful. I was really lucky to find this i have been looking around for a red polish for so long now and while i was at work experience at Myer i found this on sale for only $5 (half price) so i had to get it. I would definitely repurchase Boujois nail polishes again and again.

3. BYS (Ultra Violet no.N83) (on the right hand side)

This is one of my older polishes but still one that i am totally loving. This polish applies really well you can get away with 1 coat but i prefer 2 coats i think it makes a really big difference. The brush is great really easy to apply with and overall i just really like this product.

Sunday's Haul

So i went shopping this weekend (yesterday) and purchased a couple miscellaneous items. So first ill start with the jewellery:

First off is this gorgeous pair of butterfly earrings purchased from Big W . They were originally $6.34 and they were having a sale so i got them for only $3.

The second pair of earrings i purchased were from Diva these were also on sale. They were originally $9.95 and i got them for $2.

Then i went over to Gloss which is an accessory and cosmetics store. I purchased a couple products from BYS which is an Australian brand.

BYS cleansing towelettes i like this type in particular as its free of alcohol, fragrance and colouring which is good for sensitive skin.

BYS foundation stick, which unfortunately isn't the right shade for me but good foundation overall. Its more powder then liquid which i like.

BYS shimmer shine pencil in no.05 Lilac

BYS kohl eyeliner pencil no.29 wine

Bayonelle Face Facts Review

So i Purchased this face facts kit/set thing today and it was only $1.50 what a bargain right!?
So it comes with:

• Six Eye Shadows

1. Hot Pink e/s
2. Midnight e/s
3. Snow White e/s
4. Flame Orange e/s
5. Aqua Blue e/s
6. Gold Stardust e/s

• Black Eyeliner
• Mint Flavoured Red Lip Gloss
• Lightish Pink Blush
  2x Applicators (double sided)

I must say that i was very impressed with the e/s they were very pigmented, with just one swipe i got such great pigmentation which really impressed me because i really didn't expect it.

The Blush matches my skin tone really well, its a lightish pink colour with quiet good pigmentation also. So you don't need much product at all when applying.

The eyeliner i was also very impressed with it was really smooth which made the application that much easier.
The lipgloss is really sheer, but if you apply a couple coats you get a pretty good colour payout. I don't mind that the first application is sheer as it still looks stunning sheer. But its definitely not mint flavoured which i'm glad about because i hate mint.

Also you get 4 looks applyed using this kit which is good cause you get a couple ideas.


So overall i really like this product. But seriously for only $1.50 you can't go wrong with this product. The best parts that its not tested on animals

DOVE Summer Glow Body Lotion

I love this product it does everything it claims.It says that it gradually builds a tan. You can see the difference within two days of using it. It gives you best results if you use it daily until you get the tan you desire. You should let it absorb totally before dressing and don't forget to wash your hands afterwards. After applying it, it leaves your skin silky smooth.

When i first purchased it my mum used it on her feet because she didn't relize it was a tanning lotion (she always uses lotion on her feet and puts socks on , then sleeps. This helps give you very smooth nice feet).Anyways so she got up the next day and her feet were so tan. She then red the bottle and relized it was a tanning lotion.LOL:)
